Apple has invented an even more efficient robot to recycle the iPhone



Sunday, April 22, is World Earth Day. On this occasion, the Cupertino company presents Daisy, a robot responsible for dismantling the iPhone to recover valuable components and, thus, make a gesture for our good old planet.


As you know, our smartphones hide valuable materials and metals. To prevent these from being wasted when throwing away his old iPhone, Apple created Daisy. Built from pieces by Liam (the other robot specialized in recycling designed by Apple and discover video at the bottom of the article), this machine is able to disassemble up to 200 iPhone per hour and not only the last models like the iPhone X
