Huawei and ZTE banned from selling to the US military

Huawei and ZTE brand devices will be banned from sale on all US military bases around the world. According to the words of the army commander reported by The Wall Street Journal, these products were judged to represent:

"An unacceptable risk to the staff, information and mission of the department".
According to the US Department of Defense, smartphones can currently be purchased in stores located outside military bases and used in the private sphere.
