Motorola: the new Moto Z3 Play leaked on the canvas

A photo of the smartphone reveals thinner edges but also the lack of jack.

What design for the successor of Motorola Moto Z2 Play? The journalist Evan Blass lifts the veil with a photo of the smartphone, published on his Twitter account. The photo reveals that Motorola opts for an 18: 9 screen and significantly reduces the size of the top and bottom edges compared to the Z2 Play.

At the back, there is the presence of a double photo module and connectors that allow to fix the Mods accessories (battery, camera, speaker). However, the fingerprint reader has disappeared and is now on the left edge of the device, near the volume adjustment buttons. The black finish with a shiny effect is reminiscent of the recent Moto G6. But the bad surprise is the lack of audio jack jack. Motorola has also removed the physical home button that gives way to a virtual button on the screen. The manufacturer has not yet specified the characteristics of its smartphone, but it is likely that it is equipped with an OLED screen, a midrange Snapdragon processor and 4 GB of RAM. It will be necessary to wait for the official announcement to know the price and the date of marketing.
