With Steam Link, you will be able to stream your PC games on your smartphone

The Valve platform is about to deploy a new mobile application so that users can enjoy their game library on their smartphone, tablet or TV box.

Valve has just announced the launch on May 21st of a new application called Steam Link. It will stream games from its library on all iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV) and Android (smartphones, tablets, TV). But it will only be a beta for Android.

It will also require a good internet connection. Valve specifies that the communication should go through Wi-Fi on the 5 GHz band or through wired Ethernet access. The Steam controller and the MFI controllers will be well supported.

Another Steam Video app for this summer

Another application, Steam Video, will be launched later this summer. It will provide streaming and offline access to its film and program library via Android and iOS devices. With the ability to connect in 4G as Wi-Fi.
