Y5 Prime 2018: Huawei's new entry-level smartphone

It is in all discretion that Huawei has formalized the Y5 Prime 2018, a brand new entry-level smartphone with facial recognition.

Because Huawei will never stop surprising us with its long list of models, the Chinese brand adds a new kid, the Y5 Prime 2018. The technical sheet of the latter strongly reminiscent of his cousin the Honor 7A. We find in fact, in addition to a similar design, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage space, Android Oreo 8.0 and a 13 megapixel sensor at the back.

It differs all the same with a slightly smaller screen of 5.4 inches always with a definition HD + (1440 x 720) and a front photo sensor of 5 Mpx. Huawei also announces a battery with a capacity of 3020 mAh. The smartphone has the particularity to accommodate despite its alleged small price the facial recognition of the manufacturer.


No information on any release date or prices for this Huawei Y5 Prime 2018. Nevertheless, its price should be between that of a Honor 7A (139 euros) and a Honor 7C (180 euros).
